Gold rates in Pakistan rose sharply on Monday, continuing the upward trend from international markets. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola surged by Rs13,300, reaching Rs563,862. This increase reflects strong global demand and a higher international gold rate.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold also climbed, finishing the day at Rs483,420, up by Rs11,402 compared with the previous session.
On Saturday, the gold rate had already risen, with per tola prices hitting Rs550,562 after a gain of Rs10,000.
International gold prices were boosted on Monday as well, with the rate per ounce climbing by $133 to $5,411 — supported by stronger global bullion markets.
Alongside gold, the price of silver also increased, rising by Rs188 to Rs10,050 per tola in the domestic market.
