BTS has officially released the tracklist for their upcoming 2026 album, Arirang. This is the group’s first full-group studio release in six years, following completion of mandatory military service. The announcement has drawn significant attention from fans in Pakistan.
A Star-Studded Global Collaboration. According to the official announcement by BigHit Music, the new Arirang BTS project is an ambitious 14-track odyssey. What has sent shockwaves through the industry is the list of Western collaborators. The credits reveal that BTS has enlisted the genius of Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, legendary DJ Diplo, and hitmaker Ryan Tedder.
The inclusion of global alternative and electronic producers suggests Arirang may feature experimental influences. Additional contributing producers include Flume, Mike WiLL Made-It, and JPEGMAFIA.
The Tracklist: ‘SWIM’ Leads the Way. The seventh track, titled “SWIM,” has been confirmed as the lead single. Described as an “upbeat alternative pop track,” the song explores themes of perseverance and moving forward through life’s challenges, which may appeal to fans in Pakistan.
The full 14-song sequence includes:
- Body to Body
- Hooligan
- Aliens
- FYA
- 2.0
- No. 29 (Interlude)
- SWIM (Title Track)
- Merry Go Round
- NORMAL
- Like Animals
- they don’t know ’bout us

Member Involvement and Heritage: Although Western producers contributed to the album, the group’s core identity remains. Leader RM is credited as a songwriter on 13 out of 14 tracks, with Suga, J-Hope, and the vocal line also participating significantly in the creative process. The title Arirang, a traditional Korean folk song, signals the group’s connection to its cultural roots as it begins this new chapter.
Arirang is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026. A live event, BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang, will be streamed on Netflix on March 21, accessible to fans in Pakistan and internationally.
Reports indicate that a BTS world tour may be planned for later in 2026, which could fuel renewed interest in the group.
